Funny how people bang on Lebron. At least the guy is not out getting into fights at clubs, driving drunk, raping women, or doing other illegal things I don't think I've ever heard of any bad behavior off the court from Lebron.

So what, he should be commended for not driving drunk or raping women?

I've always been a leader. I've always kind of been the tallest person on the team when I was younger, but always kind of the smartest.

I don't know why, but I highly doubt this statement.

No he should be commended for all the GOOD he does. Money he donates, charity events he attends, THOUSANDS of kids he helped, I can go on. But people want to bang on the guy for the "decision", quotes, etc.

Not really. I live in S. Florida and have been a heat fan since the day they signed Shaq.

Not really, I never lived somewhere that had an NBA team. (I left La. before they got the hornets) So I have always been and still am a much bigger college sports fan. Shaq is my all time favorite player and when the Heat got him, I started going to their games.... Heat fan now...

makes sense. when it comes to basketball, i'm more of a fan of particular players than teams.

Just because he donates money to charity does not make him immune from criticism. The area of his personality/life that is being criticized in this thread has nothing do to with how much money he gives away.

LeBron is no different from any superstar athelete. They all have huge egos it is what makes them great and drives them to succeed. Hell I would be the same way if I had talent sadly I don't. I can type fast though.

Yeah, I agree. You always hear about how much of an a-hole Marino is if you ever meet him in real life, and Bret Farve, and countless other star athletes.

The only "bad" incident I can think of is the HS thing when he was driving the Hummer.

so he is a douche who doesn't get into trouble
