Didn't South Lafourche and Central Lafourche just play this past weekend?
I am ok with the power rankings system for the playoffs, but why have districts? Just let teams schedule whoever they want during the season and place them then based upon a power ranking.

Most likely Ruston. I think they are a little better than Haughton. Either way, looks like we will have a 5 hour road trip in the 3rd round and then a 4 hour road trip in the semis. We really need Woodlawn to beat St. Louis in the 1st round. That way, we will travel to BR in the 2nd round and be at home in 3rd. You coming in town for any of the games?

Ruston is a traditional power that just dropped down to 4A from 5A for the first time since 5A has been in existence. They are a good, solid team. They are not good enough to beat Lutcher though imo.

Not saying they can't win though. But 5+ hour bus ride + decent opponent = difficult to win for anyone.

I'd say Woodlawn is at least a 7 pt. favorite over St. Louis. St. Louis can score but their defense is not great.
