They don’t. He was clearly upset they didn’t stick with him in week 2/3, and left the team. Then he demanded a trade saying he’d still play.
While he was upset, Cornelius took the spot convincingly.
Both were not laying inconsistently, but it was clear they didn’t know the offense well at that point.
