This isn’t a gotcha, it’s incredibly easy for people with a brain to understand what I said, especially in the context of the conversation that was being had.
You, however, are not a people with a brain so I get it. It is flattering that you saved a photo of my postings to make yourself look like an imbecile though

I understand that every athletic department in division I college athletics is bloated.
No they aren’t. You have no idea what you are talking about. Most of the workers at G5 schools are vastly underpaid compared to their peers in the private sector and work ridiculous hours. The burnout rate is incredibly high at that level of college athletics.
There is no comparison between the athletic operations at a P5 school and a G5 school. Every G5 school is funding the administration to the bare minimum so funding can go towards, coaches, facilities and the athlete experience.
Once again, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

You’re aware that has nothing to do with “actually believing in free enterprise”, correct?
Still waiting for you to tell us how all of this was unconstitutional too. Which article/amendment addresses this situation, exactly?

I'm sure those sports cost a fortune to run

I fundamentally disagree with this

The courts have already done this, dozens of times at this point. It’s all public, you can go read it

Where in the Constitution of the United States does it say anything about the regulation of collegiate athletics? Only Congress has the ability to regulate interstate commerce. Yet the federal courts have seen fit to inject themselves into a debate where they should have zero jurisdiction.

The NCAA was created by the schools to organize and standardize collegiate athletics. The schools agreed to the rules set forth by the governing body THEY created. The players, when they signed their NLI with the school they chose, AGREED to those rules. That was their choice. No one forced them.
And when the NCAA was created college football and basketball was not a multi-BILLON dollar entertainment business.
The schools and conferences have been signing ever more lucrative media ("TV") rights deals for the last 40+ years. That led to the salaries of coaches, ADs, conference commissioners, etc skyrocketing. Nevertheless, the share the players received of the ever-increasing revenue remained largely the same (basically 0%).

This I actually kind of agree with, but the courts have been doing this for decades at this point.

Am I supposed to be upset about losing sports like college tennis? Not sure I ever watched it or can name who the top teams are

It sucks for the athletes and not all interscholastic athletics should be judged on profitability

Wait you believe that every D1 athletic department is wholly separate from the university it's attached to?
lmao.

Correct. It’s a fact.

Yes. You said the players got nothing in a conversation about compensation. Words are easy.

You think a new office is built every time an employee is hired, and that a $50k/year employee will incur $50k in payroll taxes and benefits.
You also think $100k/year can fund an entire college sport.

The photo is just proof that you’re a lying bitch, that’s all.
Remember how you said athletes were getting nothing prior to all of this?
I do not
The guy that believes athletes were getting nothing before nil
I never said that. You’re putting words in other peoples mouths to validate your own feelings

Idiotic shite like this invalidates anything you try to say in earnest. Which may be nothing anyway

You are an LSU fan who supports LSU. What in the world would you know about athletic department financials of Sun Belt schools?
