You clearly don’t know what any of those words mean.

When the NCAA was first established (1906) there was nothing but the best intentions. I don’t think the organization’s founders could have foreseen that within 100 years, coaches would have yearly salaries in the millions of dollars, that stadiums would pack in fans in their hundreds of thousands, and that games would be watched by tens of millions of Americans on national television.

Except for the fact that all of these scholarship athletes received a free frickin college degree from a D1 university.
But we're not talking about "student athletes" any more are we? The goal isn't to use your abilities in a particular sport to earn the eventual prize of a diploma...
It's about getting to the pros, and if you cant do that, then "get your bag" for four years while you have the chance.

You have absolutely no idea about how an athletic department even works.
However will they make it if they don't have the extra 30 admin positions that didn't exist 20 years ago?
Every major university system in the country spends 8 figures minimum on bullshite admin jobs that didn't exist until recently.

I actually believe in free enterprise. Many of you clearly don’t.
This NIL shite is insane. There’s had actors on all sides, all of which are supposed to be the adults. But I’ll tell you who I’m not going to blame, is the young athletes. If they have commercial value, they should be able to capitalize on that, and they should get their share of the revenue they are inarguably helping to generate

No bonafides are needed to know that a new office isn’t built every time a new employee is hired, or that payroll taxes + benefits are not 100% of salary.
It really just requires not being stupid.

Aww, look at you thinking it takes skill to fill out at a 1040 for people

You do not. What you believe in seems to be closer to anarcho-capitalism than free enterprise. Even in the free market of Wall Street, there are rules and regulations governing enterprise.

Stupid. Thinks USC doesn’t have rich alums and 100 people/year die in car accidents.

He’s stupid enough to say while arguing that organizations having rules and regulations forced upon them for how they interact with their volunteer members is a good thing.

I know that $50k salary does not mean $50k of payroll taxes and benefits, yes.
