Fun fact. Angle never cut weight. He could have only cut 2lbs and wrestled at a lower division and had a distinct advantage. But he didn't. He wrestled at 200lbs and walked around at 199-200. The division was 198-220.

He was severely undersized for the HW division, but still won gold. He stated he'd rather be 20lbs+ lighter than the other guys and be 100% than a bigger guy who was depleted. Even cutting those 2lbs (which is literally as easy as sitting in a sauna for 10 mins) he said would have made a difference.

In today's UFC, guys routinely cut 20-30lbs to make weight.

Also wrestled as Foxcatcher. His pro wrasslin days undersell how badass Curt really was.

Dude wasn’t afraid of taking a bump, that’s for sure.
