It's good to see Todd and his father have a strong relationship today

I like that his dad had Todd train in the art of Rex Kwon Do prior to the NFL draft

How many exactly? What's the ratio of success?

He's said multiple times that he loved football and wanted to play. After he graduated high school his dad didn't train him at all. This dude is a hippie drug addict who let drugs ruin his career.

I'm not sure but between the NBA, NFL, AND MLB I'm sure there are tons of guys who grew up in HORRIBLE homes and worked their asses off to succeed.

No, he said the moment he realized he'd made it e didn't want to play anymore. He doesn't regret not bein a great player. I'd say he has his head on pretty straight

Definitely a good one. Not what I was expecting from what I knew about Todd Marinovich. Could have been a great QB. But it may not always be about what everyone else wants. Todd is at least on the right path for a better life now.

he said he liked it because he was good at it

he didnt love it, it wasnt his passion, and it wasnt his life...like it has to be to play in the NFL

he struggled on the path to find himself, like A LOT of people do. you've already said you dont get it, so just leave it at that, it's pretty obvious

I realize that, if you don't want to play then don't play. No big deal. He seems to be alright with what happened in his life and loved most of it. It seems the show is doing everything they can to spin it and put blame on other people. He knew what the hell he was doing.

Exactly. I guess my point is I feel like the people that made the story are making it something it's not. He really struggled to find who he was. They seemed to beef up the story a bit.

Because that isn't as exciting as the kid who's psychotic dad hand built him and drove him to drugs for the next however many years until it ruined his career.
