Not a doctor or anything, but I had to take the shot for my job at the time as well as 1 booster about 8 months later. Had no issues for over a year until testing positive for actual Covid. After that, I immediately started losing weight and was later found to have developed type 1 diabetes. It may have been a coincidence, but even my endo provider thinks it was related to Covid.
I know the boosters don't have a great reputation but the actual virus (or certain variants at least) can be pretty shitty too
