I want to know the full story of what went down.

Natalie Decker is driving for the same team in the same equipment as what Frankie Muniz drove in last season. He was faster, qualified better, and had higher finishes than what she's had. When a former child actor that's just getting into racing is faster than you while you're being a literal safety hazard and having panic attacks inside the car during a race; it may be time for you to consider another career choice.
She does not belong in Nascar. Just like that other gal who was finally fired (not renewed) a few years ago.
NHRA does it right and has great women dragsters. But they have to earn it by dragging 1 on 1. If they fail they get canned quickly. They are not in the seat solely because of their gender. Force daughters all grew up and had to earn it.
Nascar looks the other way allowing these women to race because it brings sponsors and they hope eyeballs. Thats their only criteria. And its not just women look at Bubba. He’s in the best Cup equipment and best sponsors on MJ team solely because of his color not from his skill. Nascar uses him as a prop on promo ads. But there are tons of drivers who could and would do better in his seat.
Also last night lets mention Boyer. He was an arrogant arse and about wrecked the whole field many times. That was a bad pick to drive the fill in truck.
Anyways, Decker needs to leave Nascar. She is only doing it for pub not for skill. How many never knew her and now the interweb peeps are speeding to look her up. She’ll get more clicks on her sites. But she should never drive any Nascar series again.

Nascar black flagged her due to speed. If you can’t maintain reasonable speed they flag you to pit.
Your team then has one chance to make adjustments and go back out and get up to speed. If not you are parked for race.
She got the first black flag and team was explaining it to her and thats when she melted down. Team knew they had no adjustments to make and thats why they asked her if she just wanted ti take it to garage.
To be honest the team handled it very professional and meanwhile she was only thinking of her social media career instead of racing and how to make it go faster. Once the team heard her melting they suggested to just park it for day.

Why does that warrant you acting like a child in the seat? Your team gave you a slow truck sothere’s nothing you can do in that situation other than parking it. She had good equipment in that #29 truck years ago, yet she did nothing with it. A top tier team isn’t going to hire you anymore.
Same story with Toni and Tricon last year. Gotta hand it to her. At least she’s finishing races.
I know we all laughed at Danica, but she did put together a good finish every now and then. In retrospect, she’s the best female NASCAR driver of all time.
Look at this list of notables:
Katherine Legge
Erin Crocker
Toni Breidinger
Natalie Decker
Hailie Deegan
Angela Ruch
DEI girl from yesterday that crashed out early
Jennifer Jo Cobb
Amber Cope
Shawna Robinson
Johanna Long
There are a few in ARCA that could disprove my point once they get in the trucks or O’Reilly series. Who knows?

Yup, Danica at least could race. Nascar wants either a female or Black driver to do well in any series. They overdo it chasing that criteria instead of just promoting racing. They need to let it happen naturally.
That gal who crashed out was a big push topic by Nascar and their controlled press. The only reason no one is talking about her wrecking herself out of the race is because of Decker meltdown.
And notice Nascar telecast didn’t really cover the meltdown. Marching orders.
Now the next female push is Legge doing the double. I get tired of the push to show women breaking barriers when they were broken a long time ago. Which then puts too much pressure on the driver to perform.
My guess with Legge if you add up both her Indy and Cup finishes they’ll equal 65. Max worst is 73 (33 Indy and 40 Cup). But the TV coverage will be sickening.
I’ll watch Indy but not Cup since they move coverage for next 5 races. Will honestly be able to keep up using social media which is almost better than TV coverage. Commentary online is much more honest and coverage of all racing actions is better. Amazing how bad Cup TV is.

For sure. NASCAR needs to stop pushing the identity politics in the sport. I thought this was a well thought out answer, and it applies to NASCAR. If drivers and the organization focused on their skill instead of being the first to do this or that then maybe they’d actually get better.
You’re right about Decker. The booth was mum.
Prime did a much better job all around than Fox for the five races last year. Go to Reddit, and you can find a free stream for the race under the race thread. Then airstream it to your tv.

What’s your opinion on Rajah Caruth? Imo, he seems like a soft spoken, humble young man who’s a pretty good driver. I’m finding myself rooting for him alongside Allgaier.

One of the things I really dislike about racing. It’s not a meritocracy. Whether it’s pay drivers, your dad owns the team, or the obvious dei charity projects, we aren’t seeing the best all the time.

Well he took out Love tonight. Then spun while in back. Seems like a good kid but he has a lot to learn. He’s in good equipment.
Day was the story. He really raced hard those last 37 laps and took the win. I mean he flat out went and took it clean too. That pass to lead ip top was crazy good. He kissed the wall as well. But he got and earned the win.

I jinxed him badly today.

Talented and likeable, he also has a lot to learn. Which is why we have the O'Reilly and Craftsman series. It is fun to watch young talented drivers learn on these series

Format for race today at noon:
All-Star race:
-Segments 75-75-200
-After first 75-lap segment, top 26 will be inverted.
-The drivers' average finish of first two segments will determine starting order for final 200-lap segment as well as final 6 berths.
Then one spot for fan vote

Unfortunately I think this will only get worse as teams don’t have sponsors pumping in the kind of cash they were 20 years ago. They need pay drivers to survive.
Just off the top of my head Hamlin and Larson are both guys from modest backgrounds. Be a shame to see those types slip through the cracks.

Lots of sponsor shopping now. Drivers bring a sponsor to a team and basically team kicks current driver out for the rent a car driver with sponsor.

We’re not too far long from Figure 8 race format for the All Star race
