Ready for some racing today.
Tristin McKee won the ARCA race last night driving the #77 Chili’s car. He’s the young kid that will take Michael McDowell’s place at Spire in a few years, per McDowell.

I think Corey day is replacing McDowell at the end of 2027. Sorry Michael.

I don’t think so. This is what McDowell said, “He's done a great job," McDowell said of McKee. "He's super mature. He's super humble. He's got great race craft, and he's just a phenomenal young man.
"I mean, I don't say that lightly. He's really switched on, focused, and he's the real deal. Jordan was asking when I'm gonna quit. I'm going to quit when he's ready to go Cup racing, Lord willing.”
I don’t think he would throw that comment out there without knowing the Spire plan long term.

Crews was wilding all race and he finally succeeded in wrecking everyone.
I hate GWC. All it does is take wins away from deserving drivers. They turn into wreck fests. Ross got ripped off a sure win. Idiots just plowing thru field with no concern of other drivers. Ruined a good race all because a back marker wrecked with 4 to go for no reason. Its like Nascar has secret paola for backmarkers if they cause a caution to get a GWC. Its amazing how often it happens.
And Day deserves the 48 seat imo. They will regret not signing him.

1 race to go. NOAP continues to be great racing. Can’t even count how many times cars were sliding in corners yet nit wrecking.

It wouldn’t be the first time he was wrong about a job. Remember the reports of Kasey Kahne being moved to leavine 95? McDowell saw that on twitter and called it fake news.
It was indeed not fake news. Spire is cutthroat. And honestly, what has he done to not be replaced by a young guy on Rick Hendricks payroll? I wouldn’t be shocked by it.
Mike can drive. But at some point you need results. He’s the third spire car. You never wanna be the third wheel.

Like OU said, he should’ve gotten that 48 ride next year, but HMS will likely poach Zilich from Trackhouse after his contract expires in 2027 to drive the 48.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see at this point. Who knows.

Burrell wheeled that car in a Lightning McQueen-ish type way. Incredible!

I have a wild theory that trackhouse in 2028 sees Carson Kvapil, Austin Cindric, and SVG as their lineup. With Jr. tightening his relationship with Trackhouse. And a strong Hendrick alliance.

USA/NBC sucks. Just don’t enjoy Diffey as a NASCAR play by play guy. Don’t care for Jeff Burton, either.

I’m not sure. I just prefer him calling IndyCar, F1, IMSA. He just doesn’t have that “NASCAR feel” to me.

Same. Just don't like listening to the play-by-play guy. It's annoying.
