I have no problems with races anywhere in the US. The biggest problem is the car. Indy was one of the shittiest races of the year. I prefer the Indy road course over whatever that was last Sun.
I don’t mind trying some of the new tracks like San Diego but my goodness it’s way too long a course.
The owners are just brain dead though. And I’ll be honest, they are not realizing the changes to come. College sports are big and keep growing. NIL has changed the game. If you sponsor a Nascar for $20m per year why not take that same money and get a multi year deal with a top 20 college? You would reach a younger audience and get into all kinds of sports from football to gymnastics. That would be money better spent.
I could see some sponsors leave for college adverts. Until Nascar fixes the car they will continue to shrink.

San Diego had enough character to justify it in my opinion. The only way to shorten that course is to basically cut half the course out over the air field. Which I don’t think is necessary.

Right. NASCAR’s number one priority should be to fix the car. Then you worry about the schedule.
I see your point with college football. I haven’t thought about it like that before. I think in college football you can have field sponsors and uniform sponsors as well which is new. Venture Global will be on the field and Woodside energy will be on LSU’s uniform this fall, but they’re sponsoring all athletics.
That’s massive maximum exposure.
In addition, Todd Graves from Canes and Gordon McKernon (lawyer) give millions every year to help support LSU and its NIL deals.
What’s stopping Pennzoil or Rheem from leaving NASCAR and getting into college football? It honestly makes a ton of sense. Am I missing something?

The car has too much aero. Dirty air is a problem everywhere. Even places it shouldn’t be. A car should race well everywhere.

Yup, its the car. Lots of folks like me quit F1 when they went to Apple. This was a huge year to gain some viewers back with many others also leaving F1. And yet Nascar has done virtually nothing to fix car. And other than NOAP, their TV booths have sucked arse.
And here we are with bad racing. And a week off while other racing series are off thus missing an opportunity.

You won’t ever hear it, but prime is by far the best coverage provider.
F1 going to Apple TV made zero sense. F1 going to prime would’ve made a lot more sense.

Prime uses the same TV equipment crew as Fox and the rest. Its the production teams who decide what to air and follow. But the equipment is the same all year. Producer has controls and picks who to follow and show.
But its just stupid Nascar broke it up into 3 different carriers. And within that there are like 10 different channels.

Yah that part is dumb.
Prime gives me that old school feel. Like from speed channel. To the broadcast. Back to speed channel. Like that used to be.

Yep. This is pretty much what we were told in June... @FOXSports getting the @NHRA regular season and @TheCW hosting the playoffs, aka The Countdown, on their network.

Prime has also been my favorite this year. Great product!

Lol. Honestly not missing out. Have plenty to do the 5 Cup races on Prime. Used to it now and gives me a nice break. Don’t miss F1 either they ruined their car worse than Nascar if thats even possible. Its no longer driving its electric management where you just steer.

You're absolutly missing out. The Prime races feel like the good ole days, plus and y'all correct me if I'm wrong but they seem to have less commercials.
Absolutely agree with EVERYTHING Hocevar said, he's spot on. Kudos to him for speaking the truth.
As many on here have said, fix the damn product on the track before you worry about racing in a foreign country. There is such a thing as spreading resources (not just referring to $$$) too thin.
No matter how many fans they may gain by one race a year in Bumfrickistan, that's not going to make up for the droves of hardcore legacy fans that are tuning out because the races and the production are getting horrible.
Glad to see RFK hang on to Preece. RFK has slowly but surely increased their team performance. All 3 cars are consistently running better every week.
As for the 33 car, it's obvious that RCR has major problems. Even Rowdy couldn't produce a consistent performance. They have major issues and nepotism has finally caught up with them.

If it’s not US NASCAR , I don’t care for it. Sorry, it’s just the way it is.
