I like how this race hasn’t been a crash fest.

What happened to Reif at the end? He was 9th and had just passed Heim.

Front Row is such a dominant team in the truck series. They definitely put more eggs in this basket than in the cup series.

Galaxie

I’ve been using for a few months pretty good

Yes, lots of green. Wonder how the racing pundits will respond though. Afraid lots will rail about it.

I thought it was good race passing was difficult at first but became easier as the race went on. I like long greens because it allows the drivers and trucks to prove themselves on the track for positions rather than letting mayhem and carnage decide.

Chase Elliott drinking a coke after sweating so much in the truck is not good. Get him some body armor or some electrolytes.

Today feels incomplete without the NOAPS cars on the track tonight.

It looked hot. I know Riggs said something about them needing to add more heat shield to the trucks.

I guess this is why they don’t have a NASCAR racetrack is south Louisiana. Actual high today-93 Feels like-triple digits with the high humidity

Speaking of Riggs, I saw a rumor for him to go to the #4 Front Row car next year.

Another heat victim. Someone needs to invent a cool suit that won’t sap engine power or take too much electric to run

Or get one sanctioned and required by Nascar so if it does take energy all teams are equal.

Riggs does seem to race well and has learned a lot about picking and choosing when to battle and how to go about it

Are these drivers adequately hydrating and getting ready before hot races? You see some drivers (like SVG and Chandler Smith) that are whipped but doing fine while others are severely dehydrated and barely holding on. You have to hydrate days before the race and not just the morning of. It would be smart to get an IV a couple hours before the race to give you a boost.

Tomorrow’s grueling race will be a one of endurance.

SVG is just a different racer than we’ve seen. Uber-talented but very smart. Not many guys have that combo. Today was proof of the second part.

Riggs is a cup guy in 27. He belongs in that seat Gragson occupies.

Nascar just can’t get out of its own way.

Why not have qualifying if you will have practice?

Cup qualifying has been canceled. The lineup will be set by the rulebook (Blaney on the pole)
There will be a combined practice at 6:30pm/et for 50 minutes.

Lineup set by qualifying matrix

Austin Hill & Connor Zilisch both failed inspection twice a lost a crew member and pit selection

Ross Chastain's car failed 3x and will not be able to qualify, will have to preform a drive-thru penalty at the start of the race, in adition to to losing pit selection & crew member

first win since my dad passed. I don’t like to talk about it much, but the last two months have been really tough. I’m missing my crew chief, my driver coach, my dad, the guy who I looked up to more anyone. I know he would be proud the way I ran the top (much better than him lol) to win my first Micro A-Main at Port City. We love and miss you so much dad.
