As is usual on road courses, INDYCAR teams must use at least one set of primary and at least one set of new (sticker) alternate tires for at least two laps in the race. Race coverage begins at noon ET (green flag 12:22p ET) on FOX.

I think we’ll see a lot of attrition. Will be interesting if the racing is any good. I heard they have a 5 year contract?

Indycar needs to completely relook at schedule and tracks. They have all these off weeks and then force teams to go to Portland and then travel all the way here the next week.

Need to eliminate some of these street races. And do more piggybacking with Nascar. And add a few more races to not have large gaps in schedule.

I said before season there are lots like me who gave up F1 and would watch more Indycar. And it was a chance to grow it. But they’ve fumbled the schedule imo.

Arlington was a great race. DC next weekend should be great and will get lots of viewers. But too many street races where you can’t pass get boring.

I’d rather they gang up with Nascar at San Diego. That would be a fun Indycar track.

I called that corner as a big potential wreck fest or passing chance.

Those cars looked like bowling balls. One was hung up on other so brakes didn’t work well then

40 laps in...as expected lots of mini crashes...quite a few different strategies...Ericsson is current favorite...but long ways to go

20 to go...can Grosjean hold on....he may or may not make it....
