Not an easy one tonight…in general, I think it’s more likely we’re dry than wet…and forecast has been improving through the week…but there will be some storms in the area this evening so it’s a radar-watching kind of day

In anticipation of possible precipitation, we’ve pulled in additional support to limit our delay time. Yes - we have the Air Tundra system which is basically a squeegee made of air. It pushes out compressed air at 568 miles per hour and can dry the surface area of a football field in less than 20 seconds! In addition, we have jet dryers from Total Venue Concepts and the NHRA, buffalo blowers, broom tractors and a fleet of vacuum trucks. In just 10 years the technology for track drying has sped up the process by 2.5 times!
