Hadjar is reportedly back in the Red Bull this weekend.

Will fans get 5% cheaper tix?
At this point just combine the starting pace lap with ending victory lap and call it a day.
F1 is so broken.

A Grand Prix distance will be shorter next year, the F1 Commission decides:
“In line with the refinements to the PU regulations to be introduced in 2027 on fuel flow, a reduction in the total race distance from 305km to 290km was approved” (a drop of two to three laps) #F1
Will fans get 5% cheaper tix?
At this point just combine the starting pace lap with ending victory lap and call it a day.
F1 is so broken.

And just think about all those races that seemed like they would have ended up differently if they had just another lap or two.
This will probably happen and go unnoticed for the most part but is a form of enshittification if you ask me.

Fuel cell size is exactly why they are doing this.
“The ICE will thus be upscaled to a 420kW figure, while the maximum power from the MGU-K is reduced to 300kW - except in overtake mode, which will remain 350kW. To achieve this, the fuel flow for the engine was increased by five percent to deliver the expected increase in power.”

Yep. It is a cop out because it isn't that big of an ask when they are building an entire car.

The teams have said they don’t want to redesign the cars for a bigger fuel cell and they don’t want to refuel either so this is the solution with the ICE being a bigger component of the car next year

It's the end of Monday and I still have not seen an official announcement for who is driving for the two Red Bull teams. Everyone is amplifying rumors as if they are facts.
It may still be true, but if they made a determination today of Hadjar's fitness, why didn't they announce it?

The session times are horrific. I'm not going to be able watch any of the sessions live. Well maybe I will stay up for the race? I'll be getting home around 12:30-1:00 am from the Friday night Clemson-Cal game, and the race will be at 4:00 am (all times local). So I can stay up three more hours to watch the race, or more likely conk out and set my alarm for 4:00 am and hope to wake up.

7 am for P2 and qualifying, 6 am for a race central time. Not terrible race will be over before game day starts.
