Also a lot more Catholics in South Louisiana. When I was a kid in the 70's Shreveport had Jesuit, Monroe had St.Fredrick and Natchitoches had St. Mary's. The only non-parochial private schools in NELA were River Oaks, another private in West Monroe that I can't remember the name of, and Cedar Creek in Ruston. Back then I think they all played each other but I don't remember them playing the public schools.
Now we've got Christian Schools, that want to be great at sports, all over the state.

Is NFHS going to be the only way to watch the games Thursday, Friday & Saturday?
They have all of the games listed.
LHSAA Football Championships on NFHS

you left out many of the LISA schools - baptist christian(shreve), Bossier academy, calvary, claiborne academy, First Baptist acad, Franklin acad, glenbrook, Grawood, Monroe christian, Natchitcoches acad, plain dealing prairie vie, ridgedale, RIver field, river oaks, Sam Crow, Shreve Christian, Southland Acad, Tensa and Tallulah acads, WInn Academy, Trinity Christian... all in north la. I am sure I am missing some.

I think Ridgedale was the one in West Monroe that I couldn't remember. Other than Jesuit, I didn't know about the schools in NWLA. I never paid attention to any of them except the ones close to Monroe. I think St. Fredrick and St. Mary's played against public schools, but the other privates (LISA's) were segregated and didn't play public schools. There was one in Ferriday like that too.

Ridgedale had some really good teams.
I was interested enough to drive by the area on my way back from Arkansas in quest of a Hooten's magazine.
