OK, here's some 3D chess thinking... If Red Bull re-swaps Tsunoda and Lawson, the overall performance of the four Red Bull seats would increase. Yuki would be up there with Hadjar, and Lawson would be in the back no matter which team he's on.
Or, fire Lawson, put Yuki back at VCARB, and throw a bunch of drivers into the second Red Bull seat and see if any of them stick. You couldn't do any worse than what's happening right now. There are plenty of reserve drivers who would relish the chance, starting with Bottas.

Lando has always been mentally weak, it was just masked by his sheer speed in a non-front-running car.
Now that he has a front-running car and a teammate who can match him on speed, but who is mentally much stronger, he's totally exposed.

Last season is/will haunt Lando. He had the golden opportunity to establish himself as the next guy and he let Oscar usurp him on his own team.
