Man the market went bananas over Fonseca after that Rublev win. Greasy Sonego was +400 in this match.

His outright odds are insane too:

Tien up 2 sets to 0 against Meddy.

If he can close this off he could make a deep run. Next is Moutet who he'll be a heavy favorite vs, and 4th round would be a very winnable match against the Marozsan/Sonego winner.

Two incredible points at 4-5, 30-30. Med pulled Tien out wide in the deuce court on his serve, Tien hit a great pass up the line that I thought was going to be a clean winner. Med hit one of the best lucky stab volleys ever. Next point, Med got Tien on the run, the tried to end the point with a dropper. Tien came in and hit a nice deep ball that probably would have sailed out, I'm not sure. Med didn't risk it and took it out of the air with a swinging backhand to win a 27 shot point. Now at 5-5, 15 all at 2:30 in the morning, it's raining and I think they are closing the roof.

Tien breaks to force the breaker. Med served the last point from almost the doubles alley.

Incredible level of play. They are really measured as to when to try to end the point after all this time.

Good for the kid. Amazing match. Med had a relatively easy volley up 7-6 he should have put away for a winner.

He pulled it off! What an incredible performance from Tien! Thought he was out of it a dozen times but he just kept grinding. Kept getting broken and breaking back.

Now he gets Moutet who's hardcourt ELO rank is 112. Tien was 80 before this match. I know that's not exactly how ELO ratings are used, but just to give a reference. The pros in here will have a better idea, but I would expect Tien to open -300 or more.

What’s the deal with Danielle Collins and her post match behavior. Came across as very trashy.

She's always had that attitude on the court. Very standoffish in the heat of the moment, but always seems like a genuinely decent human being away from the court.

I saw Medvedev was in a 5th, but didn’t realize he was playing Learner.

Awesome win for him.
