He looked completely knocked out to me. Glad he was at least upright on the cart ride out.
The sand and he was losing 2-3 bikes every lap on the rhythm after the bridge. He was landing on the table then a step off single, triple, single into the corner. Eli was clearing the table then triple, double into the corner. Kept waiting for Chase to change it up but he never did.

I rewatched the race and I gotta say the 250 East is gonna be fun if you focus on who is battling for the podium.

Daytona Track map was released.
I really want to ride over there and see the race but the stands seem too far away to enjoy it

Sexton has tapped into something unworldly.
I think it is obvious that he is the next "guy" that motocross always seem to have. But for now, its still Tomac who rode is arse off in the main

I’ve never heard a bad thing about Daytona.

Me either but when you look at the layout, it seems you are a loooooong ways away from the track. May just got to Tampa this weekend

I’ve been to Atlanta the last 2 years it’s been at the speedway. It’s similar to Daytona. The trick is the higher you sit, the better the view is.

I bought tickets last week to the Atlanta race. I used to go all the time to the dome in Atlanta but never been to the speedway. I got 25th row up on the lower level at about the 50 yard line. I wish it was a night race instead of 2:30.

Yea, we did Atlanta in 2021. It was decent. Hell, I have been going to Atlanta since it was in the Braves Stadium. LOL Bob Hannah days...
New to Florida so I was thinking the Daytona trip would be fun

Last time I went to Atlanta Supercross Mike Bell won. He died in 2021, RIP and I feel old……

I think the term then was “The Super Bowl of Motocross”.

How good was Houston? Sexton looked so good in that heat race, like hot mercury flowing around that track. Then the determination that Tomac showed in that final, rode so well even when Sexton got right up on him.

olemc had it right, the sand wrecked Chase. He was faster everywhere else but losing 1-2 seconds to Eli every lap. Knocked the fight out of him at the end. I think Eli only made one real mistake all race, dudes a machine

The real question for Eli is this. Does he retire and go out on top or does he keep coming back until he knows he has nothing left and the torch is passed.

Another one I’m gonna have to watch on tape delay.
Sand gonna be a big factor again

So far in qualifying; Sexton on fire again, Antsie looking like no fluke, AC looking back to his old self.

Sextons corner speed when the track is fresh is unreal. He did not struggle when it got more rutted and rougher in the mains, but it seemed that Eli does what Eli always does. Eli can go just as fast when it’s rutted and rough as he does on a perfectly smooth track.
Eli has always said that he doesn’t get faster at the end of the race, but that he runs the same lap times while everyone else slows down as the track comes apart.

I hope Lesher wins the LCQ on the 2 stroke.
