Didn’t know if you were the infamous rooster Lips of Prairieville of Hwy 42. Altazan brothers are really close friends of mine and used to tell me stories of that track and some of the riding camps for kids.

I raced in the late 70’s/ early 80’s then again in early 90’s. Then wrenched for Ray Mitchell in 94 and 95.

Got away from the sport until 2009 when we started doing a few LACC. I then spent 7-8 years racing all over the country with my youngest son.

Barcia will clean Sexton out before the year is over and cost Sexton 8-10 points in a race.

Sexton cross jumped on Barcia and Barcia will not forget it!

Tomac was impressive at Daytona, his practice was bad but he just bears down in the main and makes Webb pay for that one mistake. Webb rode the same pace but could not close back up on Tomac after the pass. Great ride by both of them.

Barcia is an a$$. Both times he collided with Sexton he was behind Sexton and jammed it up in there, i know Sexton bobbled/stalled both times but Barcia always thinks he can get away with the “Bam-Bam” act and shove the other guy out of the way. Kudos to Sexton for not letting him get away with it. Then after the race Barcia acts like Sexton was in the wrong,…..I hope someone plants Barcia next time he pulls that crap.

Do you know what a cross jump move is? In upper level MX it’s an offense that all of those guys take seriously.

The first time Sexton and Barcia collided wasn’t a big deal, but when Sexton messed up the rhythm section, he then tried to block Barcia by jumping across the track. Sexton had lost his momentum and if he holds his line, Barcia most likely passes him. Maybe Sexton keeps the spot, but no MXer takes intentional cross jumping lightly. Why? Because you can’t hit the brakes or change lines when in the air.

Sexton admitted to cross jumping on the podium. Listen to the way Stewart and RC talked about it. They stayed neutral but said what Sexton did wasn’t smart.

Mike Alessi used to do it a bunch and it’s one of the reasons he wasn’t very well liked.

Sexton is a good kid, but what he did was dangerous and could have ended both of their seasons. Doing it to Barcia was just stupid.

Yeah but Barcia does it to everyone for no reason other than because that’s the way he does it.

I hate it that I like him because every sport needs a villain.

Barcia slams guys in the corners, but in almost 15 years of professional racing, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him cross jump on a guy.

Barcia deserves most of the crap he gets. He rides old school in a different society. He also gripes when he gets it back. If you dish it, you better receive it.

I went back and watched the two times Sexton and Barcia got together at Daytona. The first one maybe Sexton was consciously moving into Barcia’s line, but I am not sure. In any case Sexton had a wheel in front and when Barcia chose to keep coming that is on him that he had a problem. It certainly was not blatant cross jumping like some practitioners of that riding style (someone cited Alessi…). The second time it was all on Barcia, he actually jumped into Sexton in a “get back at you, Bam-Bam” type of move. I may not have liked any of that, but we all know, and I am sure Sexton knows, that is the way Barcia rides. I could accept that if Barcia would shut up and take his lumps, but he has to act like he was the one that is being put upon, as I have said before, a complete a$$.

Barcia is a bitch and I hope he gets punted off the track as payback for the rest of his career to make it even.

Indy. Track famous for getting chewed up and spit out and it looks tight. Video of the whoops looking gnarly as frick and will probably end up jumpers. Might be the race one of the 3 top guns gets in danger of dropping off the back. Im hoping for mild carnage to get my dude Anderson back in the fight points wise and mentally because he’s been a bean burrito so far

The cross jump was when Sexton jumped across the line at Daytona and ran Barcia off the track. Barcia then had to go around the triple.

The lead rider ALWAYS has the right to change lines EXCEPT on jumps! Sexton even admitted it at the podium.

He cross jumped and almost took Barcia out. Those crashes are always hospital visits. If you didn’t see that or understand that in the race, then line up and race more often. You will understand what I’m talking about when someone cross jumps on you!
