Joker out of Madrid. This injury must be a bigger deal than he's been letting on.

Rune rolled his ankle right as he had a break point to level the third set from being down two breaks. I guess he can't take a medical timeout now. Then, Rune ties it at 5-5 and wins in the breaker. He fought off three match points.

Carlos wins Barcelona in relatively routine fashion.

A no sweat 2 set win against Tsitsipas. I think it's safe to say that Alcaraz is healthy again. +160 might seem like a decent price to win the French by the time it starts.

How do you even play 9, 3, 2, and 1 in the same tourney?

Huge opportunity the next month for Fritz. He has zero points to defend after missing Madrid and Rome last year due to injury. Coming into the European clay swing I was expecting him to suck. But he's more than holding his own on clay so far this year after back-to-back semi-final appearances in Monte Carlo (1000) and Munich (250).

Korda is playing Madrid which will be his first tournament since Australia. He’s my favorite of the Americans, so I hope he can find form after his wrist injury. He was playing really well before he got hurt

Fritz can definitely win the 4th quarter. Korda has a pretty tough draw.

Anyone know if there is a general rule on a future if the guy doesn't play the tournament? Rafa is like +400 now for RG. I kind of want to bite on that assuming he plays Rome, wins some matches, looks OK, and the RG line drops. But, if I don't get a refund if he doesn't play, I don't think it's worth the risk.

There’s no consistency. Gotta check the house rules. Looks like FD and DK give refunds.
Might be a smart play because he probably sits out if he knows he can’t win it, although he’s running out of time to win slams so he might play through pain.

Took some Fritz 20/1 at Bovada to reach Madrid final

50/1 to win it on DK. Can't wait to spend half of that hedging against Alcaraz at -350 lol.
Also donating on FAA +3500 and Rune +1600.
And some literal throw away $1 bets on Lehecka +6500, Busta +8000, Botic +10000, Lajovic +13000, and Paul +20000.

Was actually expecting Carlos to be closer to -200ish considering he beat everyone last year and he looks unbeatable right now.

I think he fought off three break points at 2-3 in the second, but just prior to that, it looked like he was about 15 minutes from being out of the tournament.

Yep. Ruusuvuori had a 15-40 lead and a couple of break points. Alcaraz saved 5 BPs that game, and went into cruise control. Ruusuvuori has tools to compete but not the mental edge.

Hell of a battle between Thiem and Poopypants going on. Apparently Shitsy made 39 first-serves in a row.
