Animal already on the prowl.

Strategy is pretty simple for Med. Don't hit it to the Alcaraz forehand or backhand and he has a shot.

This has the feel of a slam final already.

Wonder if Daniil will change his return tactics. Standing by the wall works against 95% of players but not this one.

Still haven't figured out why Haas sits at ground level with the photographers.

Albot-Ymer rematch in Miami lol

Oops wrong Ymer. No wonder why Albot is favored.

Alcaraz is unofficially* the undisputed second best tennis player walking planet earth.

*always unofficial, of course.

How did you enjoy it? Would love to hear your observations. There is something very different about watching tennis in person. You can pick up on things you can't see on TV like in no other sport.

My favorite athlete of all time

I don't think she's the best tennis player of all time, but she was probably the best athlete of all time who was also one of the best tennis players of all time.

That was not best sentence ever, but she was soooo fast. Crazy good athlete.

I think her all-time ranking in the female player category is hurt by Seles having her number pre-stabbing. If Seles never gets stabbed, how many majors does Graf finish up with?

Youtube knows what I like. Those frickers are smart as shite. They be inducing my deep dives into deep rabbit holes.

Anyhoo, here are some tennis vids they want me to watch:

Tennis has a pickleball problem

Why the ATP banned carpet courts

(FYI on the carpet courts: Johnny Mac used to DOMINATE that surface. Was basically unbeatable on it.)

Alcaraz at age 10

People compare Alcy to Nadal because of their physicality, but Nadal was never trying to end points early in the rally at that stage in his career. Carlito's playing style is much more offensive than Nadal's.
