Love this in the evening to watch but going to be horrible for the quakes and the actual race

Lots of off road driving in P1. And lots of close calls on track (almost running over others going slow in fast lane).

Yeah, the cars are a bit too much for some of these turns. Brakes are going to burn out in the race.

Aside from rain, they mentioned wind and cold temps.

Fast laps set while conditions were still dry. ALO #1.

Lando, Hulk, Gasly, Tsunoda, Stroll, and de Vries set their fast laps on hards. I wonder if any of them are evaluating an Albon-like strategy for the race.

I used to be excited about F1 cars racing in the rain, but those days are mostly over. They will now cancel the entire race if there are any actual hazardous conditions.

I'm okay with it. No reason for this.

AMuS reports that the problem concerning the driveshaft is solved. A screw on the side of the gearbox had come loose. So it's not a fundamental problem.

FP3!

I think they said 30% chance of rain. Even if no rain, the temps will less than optimal. Everyone complaining about low grip.

I have come to hate Will Buxton.

Sam Collins sucks as well.

*I'm watching on F1TV. Are they on ESPN for practices as well? I avoid gasbag Crofty during the races.

I think I hear Karun. I don't think I've heard or seen Buxton, but I don't pay close attention to the talking heads. I think I have an attention problem.

OK, Ted Kravitz is in the pits.

Hulk totally balked Perez! That didn't look good.

They're really picking up the pace. I guess the surface conditions are improving.
