Why is ESPN2 not showing Joker and instead ESPN+? This has happened a few times this week. Wtf.

I actually like the ESPN commentary teams, but it's just so dumb that they didn't send anyone over. One of the worst things COVID did for sports tv was that the big networks realized people will still tune in regardless of where their broadcasters are calling the games/matches from, so naturally they choose the cost-cutting move going forward. It's still a passable product, but there are little things, such as the delay between the commentary team and the courtside reporter, that are annoying.

I was kinda half-arse researching it last night thinking maybe Querrey, Isner, and Sock had done it at some point but I stopped looking around 2011.

Can't seem to figure out why Bautista looks sluggish. He played a 5-setter with Holt but it was only 3.5 hours. The Murray match was 4 sets and 3.5 hours but indoors at night.
There have been some long rallies in this match but it's not brutally hot or anything.
Wow Paul missed a sitter volley and it's set point.

ESPN has the domestic rights to the Australian Open until 2031. However, they are producing the event like it is in the last year of a contract before heading to a rival.
