Yep. I was just thinking that too. Many complain about the Central Time Zone teams not playing until 8:45. But if they started at the usual 7:10 start, we'd be missing half of the other games.

What a weird situation in the Hurricanes/Goons game. The glass in behind the penalty box breaks. And some coordinator gets stretchered off. Game is delayed for 10 minutes.

Another thing I like with this setup is there aren't anymore games hidden on NHL Network. With every game now on TNT, TBS, ESPN, or ESPN2 everyone can effortlessly watch every game.

I had no idea about TNT and TBS. I just figured ESPN picked up everything on their platform. That joint venture blew my mind. It's kind of like the NCAA tournament deal between CBS and Turner.

I like the TV rights split like this as long as it's partners that have channels easily found. ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, and TBS is in every cable package. I wish they would cut out the annoying ads and graphics superimposed on the ice. But at least the days of playoff games hidden on MSNBC and Golf Channel are finally over. You only get CBC and Sportsnet up there?
