It's looking like they will get the race in. Most of the rain is staying north and east of the city today. The track is south of town.

They resurfaced it in the off-season

They reconfigured and repaved it after last summer's race. Pavement was literally coming up in chunks from the track.

I know everyone is gonna DV this to oblivion, but I've never been a fan of pack racing like Daytona and dega. To have another track that races the same way, not a fan.

It's just not a big enough track for pack racing. I liked when you had to lift going in to 1 & 3 and see just how much you could carry to the exit. Turn 1 was so much fun.
