The Vegas track seems similar to the Bahrain outer layout.

It feels like this thing is getting cancelled. I'm sure the admins are trying to convince the drivers.

If Brawn and Domenicali went in they might be asking how PR wants to handle this. United they withdraw or split with the GPDA.

I don't think it is a mistake they picked a room that was glass.

Looks like George is talking, and is the Ocon on the other side?

Isn't GR the head of driver safety or something like that?

So Bahrain outer, except on a street circuit? Could be cool. I liked Bahrain outer.

Him and Seb. Presidents of GPDA.

Looking at that Vegas layout on google earth, the turn in the SW that heads back up to the NE runs along a rail corridor. I don't see that happening.

First race in '82 at Kyalami in South Africa.

Under some new clauses in their Superlicense, they had to stay with a team for IIRC 3 years and they couldn't badmouth the FIA or get a lifetime ban.

Think it was behind the grid who did a good piece on the story.

Basically made drivers contracts worthless to the drivers.

One person did go out and practice though. Forgot who it was now.

Maybe they are calling the vans to take the drivers to the resort.

ETA: Team principles have returned

Team bosses have returned. 130am saudi time. I'm guessing we get a decision soon.

I feel like if Seb was there, the matter would have been decided an hour ago.

Have to think he is on the phone, but it isn't his arse on the firing range.

I almost said something similar

And I wouldn’t be shocked if this is the reason he’s not there this weekend.

Man would be super bummed if this gets canceled this weekend, however I suppose this is what you get for having money grubbing whores in charge at F1 to have this many races in these areas.

Before anyone gets all pissy yes I realize the point is to make money. You must agree though there were different avenues to making those dollars given the info I have seen recently on increased viewership from the US alone based on DTS.

shite my wife and I are both in that number.

New FIA president is going to be livid as well. Going to be embarrassing for him.

Was rumored the Saudis were trying to buy F1 as well. This should put a thorn in their side.

If the drivers don't want to race, can we get the team principals in the car and let them duke it out? Vasseur might not be able to see over the steering wheel, but it would be fun.

Horner and Wolff trading paint would be nice.

They'd both be out by turn 1.
