Mercedes definitely used 3 sets on Friday. They were the only team I think that came in just before the crossover and put on fresh inters.
I don't think they did very many laps in FP1 though.

I'm hoping Steiner said frick it and ran the cars with a full downforce/full wet setpup yesterday gambling on rain today.

If it starts raining harder just put full wets and race.
Years ago they only redflagged if it was raining so hard you're getting rivers across the track. Now if you need full wets they just sit around like idiots
