The Louisville QB had a perfect pocket and hurried a throw to the dump we for 3 yard gain on 3rd and long. That's Finley level of crap. This kid can be electric, and they are averaging almost 8 yards a carry so keep throwing?.

A first down doesn't lose the game. He had the option to wait still.
Now waiting 12 seconds to call a timeout on 2nd and 1 is pretty bad. They somehow get a stop it's the same result. No timeouts left and time on the clock

You never call timeout after a first down in college football. Game clock stops for 5-10 seconds after the first down while the play clock runs so you’re costing yourself 5-10 seconds.
