I have yet to see it. He has died the days he was needed to hold on to things plus I am just not seeing him take control of a situation. To me, he just does not have the assassin gene like ROG PRO or most of your top flight guys have.

If he proves me wrong great. I would like to see another American contend, but I just think it is not Kuss

Much more exciting stage than I expected today. Rog in on another planet "yall to slow excuse me while I grab a Strava segment".

I agree Kuss is going to be a super-domestique and not a GC guy. I could also see him collected classics like Big George did.

Man Mas is really surprising me. He has clearly taken a step up this Vuelta. Also will be watching Bernal closely through the last week. Wondering if he will come good in those final mountain stages and go on a raid

Agree. I think had Valverde not crashed out it could have been Mas, Lopez, and Valverde in 2nd through 4th.

Today's stage was like yesterday far more interesting than I expected based on the profile.

I doubt tomorrow will have any move within the actual GC contenders but I am curious if they will use the second (last) climb which is a 2nd to pry some time back from Eiking or if they will just wait for Saturday.

Cyclingtips EIC finds his bike

A little off topic but still worth the read. Caley Fretz found the frame of his stolen custom Mosaic after 3 years of it being missing.

We got a split but it is split 3 ways.

The Rojo is in front group, possibly? Looks like that is a 2nd group of 3? I am not sure what these announcers are talking about

In shocking news Cofidis missed the split

Incredible the peleton slowed down to let others catch up...they had them buried

Cool story and even cooler that it is a timeless frame that didn't lose any of its charm in those three years. Interesting they left the Campy crank on it since besides the wheels would have been the single most expensive bit. I guess the thief wasn't sophisticated enough to remove it, which seems weird in the Youtube age.

Man I can't wait until tomorrow and then Thursday. I want to see Roglic let loose.

Does anyone else like to think Bobke just knows all the trivia about the landmarks they show off the top of his head?

Hell was about to freeze over. Cofidis was close to a stage win. But now they may get rojo

Seriously. When I saw the Campo crank was still on there, I was very surprised. And looks like Richard Carpaz pulled out today.

Cracking ride from Egan. Love to see the attacking from 60k out. Also a chapeau to Sepp for the second place.

What happened on the last climb? When I left Rog and Bernal had just attacked on 2nd to last climb and were in the lead and Odd was cooked.

Oh I just looked it up hopefully Olympic Channel will replay it tonight. The commentators on Peacock annoy me I think it is because I think Bobke and CVDV do such a better job.

Been watching it at night on the Olympic Channel.
How I have missed this broadcast I don't know. I think it is awesome. Completely different angles and shots than the NBC and Official broadcasts.
It's way more POV rider level stuff. Love it.
I haven't updated the thread bc I've been extremely busy and haven't had much time to sit down lately.

Primoz just dropped him without attacking. Egan just couldn't hold the wheel

exceptional ride by Roglic today. I'm surprised that Bernal was not in better form for this race after his time off after the Giro. Or maybe Roglic is that much better

Rog is that much better I feel. He can sprint whereas Bernal is a climber solely. I think only Pogacar is the only kryptonite for Rog.

Just imagine if you could somehow convince Rog and Pog to ride on same team and let them alternate years as leader or alternate grand tour leaders
