There was a time when some European (?) who drove like a maniac made it interesting.
As an aside, do you know the difference in Indy and F-1?
I always thought Indy was on ovals but now they are racing the streets of Nashville.

Anyone else think it’s ridiculous that Denny Hamlin is somehow still tied with Larson for the regular season points lead?

You gotta remember Larson had some bad races early. He had that last place at Talladega, since then he's gained like 140 points. But Denny has just been consistent.

Not that the racing on the oval has been good lately either, but I’m not a fan of racing on the Indianapolis road course for the Brickyard 400 instead of the oval.

Lets see how the attendance looks. The last few Brickyard races have been sparse af. Its the entire reason they're doing the road course now.
They also need a consistent dare. The race has moved around the last couple years.

It’s looking like only 9 and 5 have a chance to win but at least it’s 2 cars instead of just one running away with it.
