It was, sounds like she's fine but her shoulders banged up.

Boring finish, honestly. A lot of the race was good, but the last 25 laps or so was just riding around in a straight line.
No offense to you but I get so tired of hearing the bitching about plate racing, it's simply not possible to force it to be exciting for entire races
There's always going to be times when the drivers realize it makes sense to play it safe and ride around until it's crunch time, no matter what NASCAR does that will be the case
Not to mention that literally every sport has boring moments, it's just the way things are

I keep asking what the incentive is to beat bang and cause wrecks in this race - no points on the line. It like asking for a NFL team to play their starters for the full preseason. They're just out there to get some drafting practice essentially.

Today, they rode around in a single file until well after crunch time began, and no one else had much of a chance by the final lap.
I understand that NASCAR can't force them to not race single file, I totally get that, it just seems like the single file stuff happens more often now. It's gotten to where now guys don't want to even attempt to get out of line for fear of losing position and points, or if they do attempt, they wait until it is too late.

Single file has been an issue for over 10 years now

I'm not real sure why they changed the plate race package. Last year's set up made for some very good racing. Once again, NASCAR is their own worst enemy.

Idk what exactly you consider "now" but I recall these single file parades happening for portions of plate races all the way back to the first one i can remember in 1996

WHO?
Now I see why people think NASCAR fans are dumb rednecks. Even with that much context you couldn’t tell who I was talking about.

Yes, single file racing has been around for a long time. It seemed to be, however, that pack racing was at its best from around 2000-2008 (single-file happened, but seemed to happen far less). Since then, these cars (2013-present) have produced more single-file racing than the cars between 2000 and 2012.
There will be portions in every plate race where things get single file, and I get that. My biggest issue is that things stay single file until so late now, that 2nd place on back have less of a chance at passing the leader. Maybe it is more the drivers than the cars. Maybe drivers and teams just aren't willing to give up a sixth place finish to try to get another line going.

Pack racing was more visible with the car of tomorrow

Or get caught in a 15 car pileup and ruin their day at mile 400?

I think you know that I knew exactly who you were talking about; I just don't see how such supposed fans could make the ridiculous mistake of calling it "Hendricks".
I bet you argue about NASCAR on FB

Of course I knew.
I don’t care a bit if you think I’m a “supposed fan”
Have fun worrying about a misplaced “s” on someone’s name.
I’d prefer to actually chat about the sport.
Unless you have your nose up uncle Ricky’s butt there was nothing antagonistic about my post.

I don't have my nose up Ricky's butt and FWIW I agree with your posts on pack racing
