This is actually amazing tennis. But I can't decide which player I like more. What happens if I root for both? Is that allowed?

What the thread needs is littlebilly and bigpapi and I think one or two of the UGA guys exchanging with you and mv about up and comers. csb/subtlebrag. A few years ago, mv or whatever alter ego he had at the time was bragging about how he knew about this kid Kyrgios. I go to RG and the first match I make my crew go watch is Kyrgios and Cilic on a side court. The following year, Cilic wins USO, and Kyrgios eventually becomes Kyrgios. It is so awesome in hindsight I saw that, even though Nick was young and punked out/injured that day.

I'm here. Actually watching replay of Nadal v Thiem since the playoff game is an abomination. Thiem is a top 5 player right now imo.

In all seriousness, I did learn something about the human psyche a few minutes ago. That is the need to follow and/or idolize a champion. I don't know how not to make this sound condescending, but I don't seem to need that in order to love the sport. Maybe I was raised wrong or something.
There won't ever be any new guys because Vibe runs them off as soon as possible. You don't get banned 3 or more times by being a friendly poster.

No, you get banned by being an "alter" of a previously banned username.
And stop being so sensitive. Grow a sack of balls.

And how exactly did those previously banned usernames get banned?

BassProShop gutted in the semis. Embarrassing effort in the 3rd.

Joker just played a set straight out of 2015

He's up two breaks in the second set. I guess Nole is Thiem's kryptonite.

I want to party with this guy.

Watching this match makes me think I misspoke about Thiem being a top 5 player now. Down 6-1, 5-0? That shouldn't happen.

What a statement match. A little reminder to the up and comers.

Ehh it was a huge letdown spot for Thiem, and Joker played out of his mind. I wouldn't write off Thiem for this. He also played a lot lately.

Any old school fans here? I used to play as much as 5 nights a week back in my high school/college days (just B level), and I watched tennis all the time back then. Loved Ivan Lendl's game back then when everyone hated the guy. Deep top 10 in those day - guys like Wilander, Edberg, Becker. I haven't watched tennis in years - what's the state of the game nowadays? A couple dominant guys or lots of up and coming stars? Worth getting back into as a spectator?

Tennis is awesome right now. To me, the biggest change is having the chance to watch all these guys play these smaller tournaments. (Mainly Tennis Channel). And you also have to get away from the us (Americans) verses them mentality of years ago.

Singular. For Lacey Duvalle.

I just don't understand this statistic as it pertains to nadal. He won his 13th masters at IW in 2009. WHich means he played in more than 9 masters tournaments by Miami 2009.
