That lady was really emphatic about pointing out the thrower. The guy, however, seemed less angry and more emotionless

I like an Anaheim Pittsburgh Final now
Perry and Getzlaf not being on same line was smartest thing Anaheim could do.

Really? Are they even trying at NBC anymore? Dude said "The West is wide open. St. Louis, Chicago, and...there are opportunities there." Chicago got SWEPT! Useless talking heads.

That could certainly happen. Gotta respect nashville's game though

I'd add the Stars to that list

The Flyers need to bring the pants back also
Philly may need to rebuild

fricking Theodore killed us and leads Dmen in points in the playoffs.
He might get scratched in game1 next round when fowler and vatanen return.
frick

Best sweater ever
The Devils need to wear these throwbacks
I have seen where Nike is doing away with alternates though.

Not sure what Florida teams do
Not sure about the Florida Panthers situation, but the Lightning's front office seems to have the Lightning in good shape moving forward, and the moves they made at the deadline should help with resigning players like Tyler Johnson, Jonathan Drouin, and Ondrej Palat. The expansion draft makes things interesting and its forcing some clubs to make moves they'd rather not make. I think the Lightning will try to trade someone for another top D-man because they've got plenty of offesive firepower. I wonder if the Lightning would leave Stamkos unprotected (Stamkos might have contract clause that could prevent this) during the expansion draft or trade Stamkos this off-season. With Stamkos being injured so much lately, would the Lightning's front office consider doing this move? Who knows, but I hope the Lightning can somehow sign Brain Boyle this off-season. Though with only so many spots, it wil be a tough to find room for Boyle$$.
Playoffs
Lundqvist kept the Rangers afloat those first two games in the series, and then coaching/rangers relentless D took over the last 3 games. I thought Montreal looked like a "Cup" contender those two first games, but I was wrong. They need offesive because Price can't do it all by himself, someone eventually has to give him a few playoffs points per/game.
I wouldn't be shocked if Boston forces a game 7 and that Toronto -vs- Washington series has been a very entertaining so far.

I could definitely see Matt Duchene in a Habs sweater next season

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. For the last 20+ years the Habs have been icing the exact same team. The Habs have been building teams with good to great goaltending with a defense first coach and zero elite offensive talent. Year in year out this team keeps coming up short in the playoffs because they can't score goals and yet they keep icing teams with the exact same type of players.
Like it or not the Habs need to go through a real rebuild. Some will say it doesn't guarantee anything and yes that may be true but you know what icing the kind of team that the Habs have for 20+ years 100% guarantees that they wont win a cup so maybe it's time to try something different.
hell pitt with (MAF) and chicago with (niemi) have won cups without very good goaltending. may be time to trade price and others for offense or blow it all up. the rags and habs have arguably two of the best goalies in the game and neither has won a cup since 93 or 94 with Roy and Richter.
the problem is offense. this was our worst output in franchise history in a 6 game series as far as goals scored. There ya go marc. chew on that. the writing is on the wall. Now more 4th liners?
