That was the crappiest performance i have seen in OT by any team this whole playoffs by the habs. complete garbage. FOrwards were not even backchecking anymore allowing the rags to roll right in on carey. Everyone on the ice stands around while Rags skate around them like nothing. Price is all on his own.

4 times they have blown the lead at home this series. albeit it was only 1 goal leads.Cannot hold a lead or close out when they have a lead at home against the rags. Rags running Price again and all the goons acquired at trade deadline have done absolutely nothing to defend Price at all. Great deadline moves marc, lets not pick up a scorer in favor of goons who don't do shite.

Nice PP habs. Allowing the Rags to score short handed is a total embarrassment. MB has been here 5 yrs+ and still has failed to acquire a pure elite scorer.

Pacioretty needs to go. Every playoffs it's the same old story with him totally disappearing. What does it say when Guy Lafleur calls him out?? I never liked Therrien but even he said max was our worst captain ever! Pacs doesn't care at all. Listening to his same old tired BS following every playoff game is repetitive, stale and old. He shows up during the season when he feels like it. He's the biggest slacker on the team.

oh and chucky? your soft as charmin russian arse can hit the road also with pleks. useless as tits on a boar hog come these playoffs. As far as i am concerned I am perfectly fine with MB being shitcanned ASAP and if new GM wants to blow it up and start over the right way, I am fine with it. dump everybody for picks and prospects. Price may test FA market after next year and rads may resign with us and may not. They both could severely hamper our ability cap wise anyway. I like lindgren our AHL goalie if we do indeed trade everybody away for picks and prosepects and get better draft position and start over. I'm good with it. we have done the same thing for 23 years and it has not worked. Time to try something different. tank for 3 years and blow it up. stop putting a band aid on a gunshot wound.

Until the Habs can put together a team that scores consistently with forwards who can be relied upon to show up in the playoffs we should stop pretending like Price can just steal every game on the way to the cup. This series isn't over but if the Habs are going to pull off a comeback that means our best forwards, like Patches and Chucky, need to start putting the puck in the net.

Rags aren't that good. Habs are that bad. you have guys who get you through the regular season and guys who get you through the playoffs. we are sorely lacking the latter.

while that Zibenajad OT winner was some of the luckiest shite i've seen, you still have to wonder how he managed to get by the person defending him so easily, to be even in position to easily knock in a Game 5 winner that was deflected across the entire zone

While Pacioretty is having a terrible series, he did score 5 goals last year and 5 goals the year before that. Perhaps someone else on the team wants to take a turn at scoring? 10 goals in 5 games is not gonna cut it, even if you have Carey Price.

You need more scorers, not less. that way, if Max goes into a drought, there's someone to pick up the slack.
