As a Nashviller, they just nailed it from game one. It didn't hurt having so many Motor City transplants for the freeze-dried "Predwings" rivalry, but there were others.

I remember the Blue Jackets sending a barely able to skate Jody Shelley in the game to just punch somebody out. Half of those games didn't make it past the first whistle before gloves came off.

I always imagined Barry Trotz practices as "If you can dodge a wrench" drills.

They've kind of been in it from the jump, not to say they'll get to the Conference final this year, but even the frustration has been fun.

The cubs winning a WS demanded a blood sacrifice.

The bulls may sweep the celtics in the 8-1 in nba

1-1 in edm

I'm jealous. The CBC broadcasts are so much better. Love Coach's Corner and the studio show. Do you get all the CBC games all year?

I thought there would be some TV restriction in the US. I guess not.

I don't know who Cassie Campbell Pascual is, but she's been on Sportsnet a lot. Predators ice reporter was looking good tonight too.

St Louis was a non-traditional market a generation ago,now we just had 5 kids from St Louis drafted in the 1st round. Another St Louis kid just scored a goal for the Oilers.

You all are doing great things. The sport is amazing, it just needs to take hold.

Do you have Elliot for next year? What a soft goal he gave up last night. And Blues have 3 days between games again. What the hell?

Now 2-1 Sharks.

Thats the big question for us. Both goalies could leave.

Do we throw money at Bishop?

Personally i suspect moose returns and Johnson leaves

Stay away from ex-Blues goalies. That would be my advice.

Best explanation that I've heard.

Since the Cubs won the Series, this year I've been like Blackhawks, ehh, whatever.

The Hawks limped into the playoffs and I knew they were dead meat to the hungry Preds. Game 2 Saturday night sealed it. That was a beatdown and the Hawks didn't even try to fight back. It was over after that.

The Hawks are a victim of the salary cap.

Have to learn to balance your talent/league-mandated salary cap.

Kane/Toews/Kieth/hossa are locked up long term. How much money is that?

Sharks

Imma guess thats 25M between those 4

Throwin seabrook and ansimov and i bet that number is up to 34m. If the cap is 77 thats almost half on 6 players.

Panik panarin being cheap producers helped a lot obv

Kessel 6.8
Hornqvist 4.25
Hagelin 4

33.25

Letang 7.25 but doesn't count against cap while on IR I believe, when he's in the lineup it's quite the chunk of money into a handful of guys.

I used to have to listen to Baloo tell me how bad the Pens cap situation was, thankfully these last few years have shut him up.
