Lol hardly. That was an even game.

Not sure any objective person would agree with that. However neither of us are objective so I'll agree to disagree. Enjoy your 2 points.

Flames still get a valuable point. Ducks win in shootout.

San Jose loses in regulation, at least

officially the all-star break.

Ovi hits two milestones in one game. He notches his 500th assist, becoming the fourth active member of the 500/500 club. He also scored his 30th goal, giving him 13 straight years of 30+ goals. Only two other guys to do that were Gretzky (13 years) and... Mike Gartner (15 years).

Ovi is coming for you, Mike. It's about the only Caps scoring record Ovi doesn't own. To Ovi's credit, he tried to tell the officials after the game he didn't touch the puck so Orpik would get credit for a rare goal. He was lying. The puck clearly went off his stick. He just wanted Batya to get credit for a goal. Nice gesture.

I did well for myself last night. Preds hit, penguins hit, Caps puck line hit.

For real I will probably lay off games the first week. At least that is my plan. Of course I'll probably end up getting the itch and grab one the first game back

Sabres defenseman Zach Bogosian will miss the remainder of the season. The 27-year-old will undergo hip surgery next week and the estimated recovery time is four to six months. The Sabres do expect Bogosian, who is in his third season with Buffalo, to be ready for the start of 2018 training camp.

From getting hit by Evander Kane at practice.

No NHL tonight, but there is hockey.

Notre Dame at Minnesota - 7 on ESPN2
Penn State at Wisconsin - 8 on BTN

As cliche as this sounds, i think Gaudreau is better now after jagrs mentoring.

So all is not for nothing.

Skills winners:

Mcdavid fastest skater
Gaudreau puck handling
Fleury save streak
Ovie hardest shot
Pietrangelo passing accuracy
Brock boesner shooting accuracy
