Yeah I thought a little rest might help him, but he's spent. He might make 1 more push, but it's over.

Or Stan could just let him back in it

Lol, two seconds after you posted that, P-Mac asked if he has one last push. And then he breaks. Ninja comeback in store?

My bold prediction isn't looking so good. I thought he'd get by Stan. I clearly know very little.

Apparently, Uniqlo is like the Old Navy for Japan. Criticize Nike all you want, but they made Nadal and Fed look awesome.

And now, even if Kei were to pull off something miraculous, I'm pretty sure he would be completely spent for the final a la 2014.

Kei is the best player who hasn't won a major, imho, and so I'm rooting for him to get one.

That's the problem. I love Kei, but he will have no gas in the tank for Sunday. Stan is fearless and fit enough to give Novak trouble.

It was funny how they appeared to make everybody but Nadal wear ridiculous outfits. I guess if you have enough clout with them, you wear what you damn well please.

Is this true? Good to know before I spring for a replica Kei Nishikori shirt.

I actually have a couple shirts and jackets and the stuff is pretty good quality. It's just a discount store for the azns.

I'm always the guy defending players regarding PEDs, but this is one guy I would wonder about.

Some guy in the stands had a big old Karate Kid style Japan headband.

Hmmm, he's strong as frick. But, the ability to play all day and peaking so late, good point. He's still down on my suspect list after Nole, Ferrer, and Nadal.

That's a lot of empty seats for a double brand-name SF on a friday.

Ashe is an abortion and I think fans are wise to that. It will never fill up unless you have something like Fed/Nadal or Serena in prime time.

And I know it's a joke that he looks like he goes on benders, but at the same time he doesn't look like a gym rat type.
