somewhere out there, Anthony Davis is in front of a fire place with a book in one hand, pouring a scotch laughing at the pels drafting another player that will not help them

I'll pick for Orlando, if it's ok
With the 11th pick the Magic select Marquese Chriss from the University of Washington.

Didn't even realize Jaylen Brown hadn't gone yet.

Wait so is Brown gone or not? Because I may need to fleece the Suns in a trade if not.

Nope. Valentine's my man.
I saw all the mocks had the Jazz picking 1 of 2 euro SG/SF.
I liked Valentine's game over those 2. The Jazz's leading Assist man is Gordon Hayward, not good for an NBA team to have your stretch 4 be your leading scorer and leading assist maker.
I thought of Criss as a replacement down the line for Hayward but he's got a couple development years ahead of him despite being near elite on the athleticism spectrum.
Didn't like any of the PG as a lottery pick, didn't think many of the available 4/5 players were huge upgrades over what the Jazz already have on the front court.
Valentine has a nice jumper that gets off quick and he can hit from range. He's a really good passer and gets the team involved, is sneaky athletic and plays good defense and rebounds well with his long arms and height on the perimeter.
His ceiling might not be as high as some others, but he can make the quickest impact on a team like Utah that has zero star power in the backcourt.

You draft my China dude I'm going to find some Argentinian/Brazilian that has a scorching case of AIDS Herpes Hepatitis and Zika to infect your team and family. Comprende esse? Or am I being obtuse?

I definitely see the pick. I do think I'm starting to like valentine over other guards like Murray who seems like too much of a project to me without the ceiling of an Ingram. I can see someone being intrigued by valentines complete game once hield and dunn are gone

We don't have to worry about zika on the lettuce farm pendejo
