It seems like the 49ers have 1,000 players on their roster.

Harbaugh will be going in dry on the league for years.

I like the SF pick too, but you guys are acting like he's already healthy. Not every body can AP their recovery.

They basically got a starting safety, starting TE in two-TE sets, future starting DE, edge rusher, potential starting WR and now a future All-Pro RB

Lattimore will get at least two seasons to get back to 100%. Then he should slide in there with Frank Gore heading to the end of his career

49ers have had a hell of a draft. Now how do they get all these players on their roster?? Serious question this is absurd

You can do this for every team in the league. Noone knows who will and who wont pan out

You are missing the point.

They just got a first round 2014 running back in 2013.

Gore will do his usual shite this season with Dixon/James/whoever filling in with carries, then Lattimore will be at full strength for 2014. Perfect scenario. 49ers don't need to rush him for 2013, they can afford to wait until he's fully healthy.

San Fran had 10 fricking draft picks. Pretty sure any front office could kill the draft with that.

Regardless kudos to their FO for being in that position.

Pretty sure everyone is aware he's not healthy. Its the fact that they basically picked up a nearly free option on a potential probowl level talent. If the dude never makes it back it costs them next to nothing, if he recovers he could be one of the best backs in the league (who cares if his career is only 4 years, makes no difference). The risk/reward here is unreal.

Exactly. People are all over the 49ers because they are taking "name" guys and guys that draft analysts (the same ones everyone calls idiots) have rated high. Nobody knows how they will work out.
