I will be happy with Montgomery or Washington.
Hopefully we can find a quality back up OT in the 4th too.

if there are still stud DE's tomorrow we should package pick 60 and one of our 4th rounders to move up

Agreed. Trufant plus a DE we were planning on taking in the 1st would be solid.

Then gamble on TE/RB later

Wonder if we can get a decent backup QB later in the draft like a Mike Glennon

Glennon will be gone. I don't see us drafting a QB. We will sign a vet to a 1 year deal and keep grooming Davis to see if he develops.

There is no reason not to draft straight defense with the next 3 picks. Get a TE late. Maybe use a high pick on a tackle. Holmes scares me if he's our starter.

Trufant is the 18th team captain TD has drafted since joining the Falcons

He definitely has a type

Florida State’s Xavier Rhodes and Boise State’s Jamar Taylor also were on the board. But I think Trufant fits the Falcons better than they would have.

In a lot of ways, Trufant is a clone of Samuel. Trufant comes with similar confidence and swagger. Plus, he can play.

Trufant might just be the final piece in Atlanta’s Super Bowl puzzle.

LOVE the Trufant pick. We'll see what is available at 60.

Hopefully a very good DE is still on the board but if one isn't, I'd rather just try to draft a difference maker at another position. You can still get so much talent out of that pick that i'd hate to see us draft solely on need.

I keep hearing people say that Abe is still on the table to come back. I really like the trufant pick if Abe does indeed re-sign with us. I really like the pick regardless but it makes much more sense with Abe coming back

I have no problem with too many quality leaders on a team. Never hurts

He sort of reminds me of Champ Bailey the way he moves his hips
