Didn't know there were Mariners fans on this board. I've been a fan since I was a kid during the Griffey days. 11 years without making the post-season and still a fan. Still til this day can't believe they traded Adam Jones.

Same exact thing here man. Still have never even been to Seattle but I'll watch them lose 90 games a year, but for the first time since 01 I'm really excited about the team.
I won't address the Jones trade because I don't talk about the Bill Bavasi years anymore.

Bell blew out his knee the first week of the season in Low A ball.
Starling Marte, top 50 prospect in baseball, led AA in hitting last year and is in AAA this year. Great defensive OF who can hit for contact with some power. Better OF defensively than McCutchen with a little less power. Similar players. May be up toward end of year.
