Bet 12 (Prospective) across the board for a small amount. Remember the least you can bet across the board is $2, but he is like 57-1. If he happens to win you can make a little change from it.

Race 9.. I would go with 5 Mildy Offensive 20/1 just because that's my favorite name of the group..

If Prospective wins this race, there's not a cow in Texas.

anybody betting online thru twinspires, be advised their servers are overloaded and running slow today. Get your bets in early.

Ok. I had to leave that place...too many deginerates for me...I bet the board on Dullahan and Indy, and a lil bit on Trinnuberg and a lil on Hansen, both to win....let's see what happens!!!

Gemologist is the credited pick.
Is Prospective to show too much to ask for?

Every time I have been in there I felt dirty when I left. I just couldn't imagine being someone who is there all the time. Its like being in an old bingo hall.

True, but the old timers at my local track always give me solid tips on the Derby.

I never really hung around to get tips from someone there. I just usually go to my local barber and get my hair cut the Thursday before the derby because that is the popular topic and there is always someone there who has the "inside scoop".

So rosenrosen, you got any tips on today's race?
Posted on 5/5/12 at 2:45 pm to supadave3
I like Gemologist to edge Creative Cause for the roses.
Look out for Alpha as a sleeper.
And I've got some loose change on Prospective at 57-1.

He seems to be a sleeper. Heard his name mentioned a few times.

I think I said it in here before, but in the Derby, since it is a large field, I usually like to pick horses posted somewhere in the middle (between 4-17). My formula is to take whoever Borel is riding and one or two other horses between 4-17.
