good bet imo.
your IMO would be wrong then. Anytime Cada looks at Ivy - Joes balls shrivel up and he becomes a little girl scared of the dark. Sad to watch.
I like the Moon dude, pulling for him or Ivy

so true! He had many chances to reraise Ivy but became a calling station. He never knew where he was at......Ivey is the favorite imo, but he does gamble at times which could cost him. I don't think Moon has the game to play shorthanded. Begleiter could pull it off, he is playing very well. He has had the cards like moon so lets see what happens when they don't. That is where Ivey rules.....I like the idea of waiting til november to finish the final table but some peeps got to where they are at because of luck (getting the hands and flops and such constantly)......I think moon won't have the same luck but he has the stack to be patient and wait as does begleiter. It will be interesting.......I can't wait!

Pulling for him to win...I want to see if he would actually throw away the bracelet
Posted on 11/4/09 at 11:36 am to Walt OReilly
I don't know why but I forgot about shulman, the guy has skills. He has been there before, he has to be a favorite as well. I hope he was just talking out of his arse, his friends would get pissed at him if he actually did that. If anything he should sell it or give it to his folks. Not like it is worthless......
Posted on 11/4/09 at 11:48 am to LSUintheNW
He claimed he never said it and gave a list of 4 possible alternatives. He isn't planning on keeping the bracelet should he win it but is not going to throw it away.

I don't know that he did say it.......hear someone say that. I would hope he wouldn't....sounded pretty off to me.

“Look, I love poker and entered with the hopes of winning,” Shulman stated. “But, more importantly, I support making the industry stronger and better for the players, and to do this, there needs to be some major changes to the way the World Series is run at the highest level.
“Hopefully, by doing something like this, people will start talking about those changes.
“I am going to stand by my commitment, but instead of pointlessly throwing it in the trash, I have come up with a few ideas. Feel free to shoot me any other ideas. I’ve got a few months to decide.”
Jeff Shulman’s alternative bracelet ideas:
1. Auction off the bracelet and give the money to charity
2. Hold a tournament for all players shut out of the main event and award the winner the bracelet
3. Give the bracelet away in a SpadeClub.com tournament
4. Give the bracelet to Stephen Colbert

I am sure he knows it's there. Anyone who is stupid enough to steal in a casino is retarded. Anyone who would even try to steal from Ivey (unless on the felt) is even dumber!
I like the picture though.....he is so damn filthy rich....lol!

did any of you see E60 last night? (or was it the night before?)
They had a segment where they followed Ivey for 4 days on a casino tour and Full Tilt publicity thing in Europe. Good lord. He got to the first casino and wrote a check for 1 million and played craps for 20 minutes and doubled up, and won like 400k the next night playing craps in his suite. The amount of money this guy makes is unbelievable.

Ivey's life would make a good movie.

yall get on Kopp about that hand but when he had a huge stack he folded pocket 4s in the small blind to a single raise and he would have doubled up through Darvin Moon's A9 as the board came
62499
So by making a lame fold for about 2 percent of his stack if that he cost himself the tournament later

bump for all you Joe Cada haters. What are you talking about scared against Ivey? you going to call a re raise with 107? or perhaps his re raise with 77 on the flop vs Ivey showed weakness.
