I still hate Shaun Suisham for shanking a fricking 24-yarder that would have put the Redskins up 10 to ice the game. Cost the Vikings home field.

Considering the Saints benched their entire team in week 17, I'd say that's pretty selective to say that play cost the Vikings home field. Hell, a Hartley shank cost the Saints 14-2.

That pic is so legit

if I remember correctly it was a huge debate about if that pic was real or not

it was supposedly taken on gameday...and people were using embedded data in the picture to prove the date and time it was taken and shite

IIRC, I think it would have given the Vikings the chance to control their own destiny.

At the very least, the Vikings were still going for it against the Bears in week 16 and lost. Going back to the skins game is a stretch.

Obviously, there were a lot of things you can go back to as the difference, but that missed FG is one that just stood out for me.

The Saints were sick, but they did get a hell of a lot of breaks that year.

And had the highest point differential in the nfl by far, even with resting our starters in week 17

Would be funny if the Falcons also fell 5 yards short in the GA Dome of playing for a championship.

That was one of the greatest games I have ever seen. Favre has always been mt favorite athlete of all time and I still appreciate the game for the highs and lows.

You should hate the Vikes for costing themselves home field. Them shitting the bed against Carolina & then blowing it at Chicago the Next week is what cost them.

For some reason people think of the redskins and the 2 falcons games. And the 1st game with the falcons we were cruising and they got 2 unbelievable breaks that kept them in the game, and by kept them in the game i mean they had to convert a 50 yard touchdown on the last play to have a chance to tie the game with a 2 point conversion. They didn't and people just remember the 8 point win. But we dominated them.

We blew the competition out very often. The most dominant SB winner in a loooong time.

The redskins game was luck, so we got lucky ONCE
