If Notre Dame can get into early offense easily, they're almost for sure going to get a good look. SFA has to frustrate them early in the shot clock.

I hate how that's a foul.

Hands were straight up and the offensive player drew the contact. Turrible

I think the defensive player should even be able to give him a little nudge on defense.

Let shite like that go. The trade off is to call more blocking fouls.

Basketball would be so much better.

We've had issues closing out first halves all year. Hate it.

Yeah the walkup foul was bogus, in general. I mean hands straight up the whole time, moving in front of him. I mean what do you want him to just let the guy go by, it's like there's no way to play D if you're a smaller guy.

I agree, and you could tell that Walkup was doing everything he could to not pick up a foul call. You should be able to body them somewhat if you are playing straight up on defense

What a terrible contest from that SFA guy at the buzzer.

Dammit, not the exact way I wanted to close out the half, but it's basically a one half game now, and We've been a good 2nd half team.

Anyone see that guy in the background flipping the camera off during the coach interview?

SFA is in a good position. Played the last couple of minutes without walkup and still manage to go in down 1. They could be leading but they didn't quite work the clock as hard as they could have.

Yeah I agree. I was just saying that last defensive possession was obviously less than ideal. And that was also an awful closeout by Pinkney on the 3.

I think they are in trouble tbh. ND was getting to the rim at will and SFA was hitting a ton of jumpers. Walkup also has two fouls. Should be interesting

I think some type of full-court pressure is coming soon.
