Did you watch the video that was posted a page or two ago? Two male officers tried to tackle a suspect. The suspect got away, reached in his car and pulled out a gun and shot both officers.

You don’t aim for a limb or any other body part while shooting, especially with a pistol.
Snipers can do that shite but they are excellent shots and have rifles which are extremely accurate to do that.

There's a reason why cops are trained to shoot at center mass if a situation escalates to the point of them needing to fire their weapon. Lowest chance of missing their target and lowest chance of the suspect still being capable of firing back at officers
I'm shooting the guy at a non- leathal point and then disarming him.

You know what can also be helped? Their incompetence in subduing hin to begin with. We can go back and forth for days. Those officers fricked uo ans should be fired. End of story.
