OSU's WRs are better on the whole but Indiana's got an elite group too. That game-winning TD against PSU was the kind of catch you usually only trust an NFL All-Pro to make. And that was Indiana's #3 guy.

Didn’t you lie about cornholing your cousin or SIL on some stairs during Thanksgiving just a few days ago? I don’t believe you’re in any position to call anyone a dumbass.

That Indiana played, yes.

Iowa faced 2 top ten scoring offenses and the 13th and they averaged about 20 on them. Iowas season worst game was giving up 28 to Rutgers in a weird Friday game.

Finished ranked ahead of everyone but Ohio state and Indiana in scoring defense. Oregon is the only high scoring team Indiana faced.

Oregon D right up there with Iowa, so me saying Iowa was by far a tougher defense is inaccurate. But Iowas D performed far better against Indiana than Oregons did.

Iowa finished slightly ahead of them in scoring Defense. If anything it is a push. Iowa performed at a relatively elite level against 2 playoff teams

Indiana will keep this close and might even pull off the win. Some of you guys keep sleeping on Indiana and hype OSU way too much.

Oregon gave up less points per game than Iowa on the season.

Also, Oregon gave up less yards per play against Indiana and USC.

You’re just wrong on the points per game. Iowa gave up slightly fewer, and in the opponent in question, the only elite offense both faced, Iowa played them first, and held them to 2 scores fewer than what Oregon did.

Yards per play is an irrelevant stat. Iowas DC been around running this zone scheme a long time. They’ll happily let you move the ball down the field in small chunks, shrink the field in the red zone and frustrate you into a game of FGs and getting greedy going for big chunks.

Indiana has to live in the backfield to make this a game and they’ve done that all season.

I think tOSU has the best OL in CFB right now. I could see tOSU win and cover and that would be my bet.

This is coming from someone that watched a lot of Big 10 football.

On the season Oregon gave up less than 15 points per game and Iowa more than 15 points.

Oregon gave up 30 points to Indiana largely due to our offense’s ineptitude. Points per game is a team effort.

SP+ and FEI all have Oregon in the top 5 and Iowa in the top 10. Oregon’s defense was better.

I watched both teams a lot.

Oregon gave up 4 fewer points the entire year and that's what you're hanging your hat on?

The Iowa fan came in said they were by far the best defense Indian faced. He then said we gave up more points on the season. None of this is accurate by almost every measure except that Oregon gave up more points in the Indiana game.

Might want to check your data sources, brochacho.

Iowa gave up 152 in big ten play, Oregon gave up 155.

What either did in the OOC is largely irrelevant as the best team either faced was Iowas game against Iowa State.

Like I said, it’s probably a damn best push between them, but in the one common elite opponent, Iowa performed far better.
