His response: "Hard to say. I'm looking forward to Hideki's coming up. I can tell you the worst.. Bubba Watson. Pretty sure I ordered off the menu that night."

Spieth - TX BBQ brisket, chicken, & ribs
Willett - prime rib
Sergio - Spanish lobster
Patrick reed - bone-in ribeye
Tiger - steak & chicken fajitas
Dustin Johnson - filet mignon

I don't think it's even a fight. It's two separate comments made ten years apart, neither comment being in response to the other. This seems more like a tongue-and-cheek comment made by Scott then a journalist trying to link it to a comment made by Bubba, before Scott ever attended a Champions dinner and a journalist, to stir up drama.

But yes, I think both have unlikeable things about them. I don't think Scott is gay personally, but I don't care for him as a golfer. He does come off as pretentious, but I don't think he meant anything (more than a joke) by the comment we're talking about. People have made jabs about champions dinner selections for years (some even off-color...Fuzzy Zoeller)

I've got a minute. I'll share a Masters '98 story.

I was with a friend somewhere around 14 green and 15 tee for the Tuesday practice round. This was the year Fuzzy got in a bind for the comments on Tiger's win the year before and his dinner menu being collard greens and watermelon, etc.

Following Fuzzy, Daly, and Herron. They tee off 15, and as Fuzzy is walking off the box, he looks back and sees Kite coming from 14 green. He comes back to shake hands, and there's only the 4 of us there by the ropes.

Kite says, "Hey Fuzzy, I figured you'd be playing with Tiger today." Fuzzy replied, "Yeah, my people called his people and asked and they said he was gonna play later with a friend, so I guess he's gonna play by himself"

We all literally laughed out loud. I'm glad there wasn't a reporter there. Tiger played later with O'Meara. I got pics with both, and O'Meara won the tournament.

Asked if he believes he can win the Masters:

Tiger: “I do.”

Seems like most people go with steak & seems like the international players put alot of thought into it.

He wasn't asked what the worst dinner was. He was asked what the best was that he's had. But he had to put his smug two cents in (and I'm not even a Bubba fan).

If he ordered off the menu, cool. But he comes off as a bitch when he goes out of his way to point that out when he wasn't even asked. That's the point.
