Scotland up 7 on Romania about the 60th minute. Wind looks like hell. Romania's missed 4 or 5 kicks.

Jeez, Romania's up 3 now. About 10 minutes left.

For non-rugby fans, this is like App State v Michigan. Scotland's Michigan.

And Scotland save face. Two tries after Romania forgets how to tackle.

Scotland 34 - 24 Romania

How did Romania look? I'm guessing their forwards were crazy physical

Romanians completely bossed every scrum. Romanian kicker, though, could not deal with the wind. Early in the second half, Romania's captain decides on a kick instead of a 5-meter scrum. Kicker missed it.

Romania looked to have the match won, but then they decided to not tackle and Scotland scored two late tries.

Fiji 49 - 25 Namibia

Most entertaining match so far. Namibian scrum-half got a drop goal hat trick and a penalty from 55 meters. One of the Fijians got four tries, three in the first half. Namibia would score, Fiji would roll off two or three, and then Namibia was right back. Fiji just had too much power for the Namibians on the day.

I'm now going to take a nap and (hopefully) wake up in time for the Argy - England match. By doing this, I'll sadly miss France's rape of Japan (who has hosting rights in 2019 for some reason).

Namibia's white players are mostly 2nd tier South Africans..

Ireland named a real strong side, we're gonna get worked.

England 13 - 9 Argentina

Ugly, cagey, and generally disappointing. Wilkinson missed four penalties for England, Argentinians missed about seven. Both teams had a man sin-binned. Argentina's lack of depth did them in as three of their players went off injured, including their captain.

new indoor stadium in Dunedin causing problems with the kicks? That was so sloppy. Couldn't believe the amount of kicks missed. Sad to see Contepomi go off injured. I think Argentina holds on with him. Still a nice attacking run at the end to make it interesting.

England's front row depth sealed the game for them.

Can't decide if I'll watch this tonight or watch the recording tomorrow around 6 PM. I've got a stupid workshop to sit through most of tomorrow. Thanks Irene for causing that rescheduling.
